Riverside Drive Park - Mullumbimby
- Quiet residential park
- Pretty views of Mount Chincogan
- Climbing frame with 2 slides
- Swings, rockers and large seesaw
If you follow the road right to the end of Pine Avenue, passing the Botanical Gardens Sports field, you’ll arrive at Riverside Drive and the park is located just to your right.
This is a quiet, residential park with the playground surrounded by a copse of shady trees and although there aren’t any picnic tables, a couple of park benches can be found in the shade.
It comprises a climbing frame with two slides, a couple of rockers, large seesaw and swings. If you are visiting this reserve, it’s a good idea to bring hats and your own refreshments as this is a residential park and no amenities are to be found at this spot.
Furthermore, although not visible for the trees, it does in fact border the Brunswick River and even though significant sections are fenced and signage is provided, care must be taken not to let your children climb over to play in the bush as there is a drop to the river below.
