Mullumbimby Apex Park - Mullumbimby
- Convenient location at entrance to town centre
- Large interconnected web climbing frame
- Small climbing frame for toddlers
- Public toilets in nearby council building
Not to be confused with Apex Park on Main Beach Byron Bay, Mullumbimby’s Apex Park is located at the entrance to the town centre just before you cross the train lines; behind Byron Shire Council buildings and practically across the road from Tony Carsberg Holden on the corners of Prince and Argyle Streets.
Because of its town centre proximity and convenience to Mullumbimby Library we found this a handy park where the children could go and stretch their legs after partaking in songs, stories and craft at story time at the library on Friday mornings.
It comprises a small climbing frame with slide and rocker for the toddlers, swings and a large interconnected web netting climbing frame for older children.
A couple of park benches and picnic tables are scattered around the periphery under the shade of the trees. Public toilets are located in the in the nearby council building.
