4 July, 2019
I don’t know about you – and I can’t believe I am surprised every year – by the amount of term time festivals and events over Winter in this area. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining – it’s fantastic that there is so much to celebrate and support and enjoy in our community.
It also seems to make the weeks fly by because we’re here again!
2 weeks of school holidays and the What’s On Guide has been rapidly filling up with all sorts of fun kid and family friendly options for you to enjoy.
As well as listing all the kids and family friendly activities you can do, there are new additions to our Family Friendly Dining – plus – being a parent, I know all too well that we need a break too so you’ll find some highly recommended babysitting / nannying services listed in our Kids Services & Event Specialists.
In terms of school holiday activities and fun to be had – we’ve got it sorted for you.
From tots to teens – preschoolers to high schoolers; 30 mins, 1 hour, 3 hours or all day – there is quite simply heaps to choose from with some days over 25 different activities, events and workshops with prices to suit all budgets, starting with FREE!

Click the link for more information, offers, timetable and ticket prices.
So, there you have it.
That is apart from heading down to one of the many beautiful beaches, enjoying a coastal or hinterland walking trail or enjoying a scoot or a skate or a play at any number of our local skateparks and playgrounds… all of which you can find out more about by clicking on the links.
So, have a look at what you fancy doing with the kids and make a morning, afternoon or a day of it!
