Ballina Memorial Olympic Pool & Waterslide is located in the Ballina CBD next to the Richmond River.

This much loved community pool boasts heated 25 metre learn to swim pools and FINA compliant eight lane 50 metre Olympic sized pools with access ramps into all pools. The pools have state of the art heating pumps powered by the sun and stunning new water splash area for the kids.

There’s a covered viewing area alongside the Olympic pool plus  extensive lawn areas dotted with covered, shady picnic tables and new BBQ facilities so you can either pack a picnic, use the barbies or pick up something from the kiosk. The kiosk also has a supply of quality goggles and exercise equipment for sale.  The transparent fencing allows for stunning views across the adjacent Richmond River and there’s also a brand new amenities building.

There are two waterslides – a shorter slide for a gentle ride, and a longer faster slide for the waterslide enthusiast. Our kids love the green one which can also be used as a dual person ride so you can hang on to your little one until they gain more confidence and are ready to go solo! Our daughter has now migrated to the higher, longer and faster yellow slide which also has spectacular views of the adjacent Richmond River as you make your ascent!

Good news for swimmers – if you purchase a season ticket from the Ballina or Alstonville swimming pools you can now use your season pass at either pool.
