Exciting for children….relaxing for parents…There is an entire field allocated to our families and little festival goers. This Children’s Festival is in a fully fenced and secured area designed exclusively for parents and little people to relax, play and unleash their creative spirit.
In 2019 Little Splendour is even bigger with more of everything for the whole family. There is a family camping area, new café inside the kidz field, a tipi area designated for parents and babies with all the conveniences. There is a separate play area for the little ones which includes a park, large sandpit, music garden, a story telling tipi with character visits from fairies, pirates and princesses. There is a littlies jumping castle and an art and craft zone called the Artie Fartie Partie.
There is also a Big Kidz Zone with sports and games, a pirate ship jumping castle and giant board games. During the day there will be a program of arts, craft, music, dance and active workshops for all ages to enjoy.
There is a circus school with performances and circus workshops, balloon twisting, juggling and facepainting and a huge circus tent with a stage for musical performances, comedy acts, magicians, puppet shows and lots more.
Little Splendour gates will be open each morning at 10am, performances and workshops start at midday and everything wraps up as it gets dark. The gates close at 6pm but access to the KidzKlub Babysitting Club and Babychange/breastfeeding tipi will be permitted to 12 midnight.
There will be a Little Splendour program at the information desk which will outline times for all workshops and performances for each day so be sure to pick one up on your way through the Little Splendour gates so that you don’t miss out.
It is important to note that all our daytime facilities and services except for Kidzklub Babysitting Club require parents to remain with and supervise their children.
- Little Splendour staff are present to entertain and facilitate activities only.
- All Little Splendour staff have had the appropriate “Working with Children” background checks completed.
- Little Splendour is strictly for children and their parents only.
