Railway Park - Byron Bay
- Located in the centre of town
- Funky web-netting climbing frame
- Plenty of cafes and eateries nearby
- Home to summer evening Artisan Markets
Railway Park is located smack bang in the centre of town, near to The Rails pub, Visitor Information Centre and opposite the Community Centre on Jonson Street. Composed of various web-like climbing frames and a couple of swings, it’s a handy park if you are strolling through town and your little ones are in need of a diversion from browsing the shops.
With it’s funky ocean-painted wall, Byron Cafe borders the park and there are plenty of cafes and eateries in the vicinity. Enjoy the shade of the enormous Cottonwood trees with long-limbed low branches which are also fun for the children to clamber on.
It is also the location for the family friendly weekly Artisan Markets held every Saturday evening from 4pm-9pm during the summer months (mid October to Easter).
